My Tomboy / My Princess
I wasn't really planning on doing much on Easter Sunday, maybe go to church in the morning but I was just going to put her in something pretty she already had. And comfortable, since she would probably be wanting to climb the pews... Now Daddy wants to get her a frilly dress so she can dress like a Princess on Easter.
Thank goodness they are only $10, because I don't see the point in getting her a frilly dress FOR ONE DAY. She grows so fast, that dress won't fit her for anything else she may need a dress for.
Little Man is simple, khakis, a button down and a sweater vest.
And a haircut.
I am actually cooking this year, which is a change. Usually for Holidays we go to both of our mother's houses. This year I bought a very small (tiny) ham, I am going to make some rice and potato salad, veggies for me and the kids...
We have had some crappy weather lately and my mother-in-law's house in under water. My mother's house is still an option IF she decides to make a dinner this year.
Are Holidays getting pretty "blah" for everyone or is it just me? I felt this way for Christmas as well....
BLAH.

Dusting the cover off...
Hmmm.
But I am ecstatic that he is starting school! My Big Little Man!!!!
Just the other day he wrote all his numbers on a piece of paper and gave himself an "A" for doing a good job. Who needs teacher's to grade these things? (I am trying to upload the picture...aaaaannnnddd I can't.....SUPER!)

Hmmm...getting my feet wet....
Daddy and I are sick.
I kept the kids home yesterday from the sitter because her grandaughter was throwing up, and I didnt want my babies to catch whatever virus she may have had. Somehow - someway Daddy and I ended up feeling a little funny by the time dinner time rolled around.
By the time bedtime came - we were down for the count. Sneezing and sniffling, I took some Nyquil, which helped me get a *little* sleep, but I woke up feeling like a bobble head. And only one nostril works. (how's that for a come back? LOL!)
So we are both home from work today, and the kids are destroying the living room because there is no energy to tell them to stop.
I am currently looking for volunteers to come take these children away....
No one is really jumping at the chance.

OKay - maybe I can form some sentences now...
- The losing battle continues with trying to get our son into school this year.
- I still have not gone to school, but only because of the sitting situation. I cant ask the regular sitter for longer hours And we obviously can't afford more daycare than we have now. Daddy still has a very unreliable schedule, as he delivers to some islands as far as two hours away from us, and depending on traffic, well....
- Our little girl turned two in May. TWO. Where has the time gone?
- I still work at the same shithole - but I like the job. It's the people I hate. With a passion. Grrrrrrrrr.
That's about all I can muster right now.
Good Night.

Life.
Daddy veered a little to the right and took an old job position. More time at home, less stress (for him and myself, yes I'm selfish.)
I am standing in front of a fork. My head itches.
I went online and signed up for information at three different schools in my area. I have decided that where I am is not where I want to be and I need to take my steps to get where I want to be. The last time this happened, Baby Girl was born so I had to stick to my path and play slave mommy to another baby. Baby Girl is turning two.
Mommy needs to find herself.
The support of my dear husband is impeccable. The support of my mother, who will take the children if I have to go to school at night (and in the event that Daddy is not out of work) is divine.
My legs just need to stop shaking so I can step firmly forward...

My computer is being fixed – AGAIN. I have been very lazy to write, I know…but believe it or not lately my desire to be home instead of…well… anywhere else… is getting stronger. So I'm figuring I can sit in front of my puter and do something besides play games before I go to bed. (Damn those facebook games! LOL!)
I have been filling out applications for Charter Schools for Little Man. His birthday being in November puts him past the cut-off date in our state for going into school when he is supposed to, he will be forced to wait a year. I don't want that for him at all. And we can't afford
I actually have to get some work done – so I shall be back. Sooner rather than later I hope…

The Losers...
They go every year for a friend's birthday (I've spoken about him before, "S")...,his birthday is next Friday, and I''m super jealous because they get to get all decked out in the suits, wear the masks, shop for paintball accessories, while I sit at home and wait...wait...wait....
I have a lot of anger to let out! I would like to shoot some people! Hell, I can pretend I"m at work...
Last year, Daddy came home with a swollen finger, he caught a paintball (well, he didn't exactly catch it) right on his pointer finger, and it was swollen so bad he couldn't bend it. He was no worse than another buddy, who ended up catching a paintball right on the side of his neck. He had a bruise on there that I swear must have numbed his neck, it was really close to his artery.
The biggest guy of the bunch had many bruises on him, so Daddy doesn't let me go so I won't get hurt.
Phooey.
I want to go!

why is it...?
Job - still thinking. The health insurance is killing us...it would be better off if I weren't working and that's on my mind all the time. I should be happy to have such a job - where the threat of lay-off is far from anyone's mind...but the cost is terrible.
Grrrrrr.
These are my babies singing Twinkle Twinkle...
Enjoy.

I've come to see -
Okay - sorry attempt for a post - I have to break up a fight over a stupid, very loud, very obnoxious fire truck that was given to my son...

Strange Happenings
My little girl is using the potty. She is a year and a half old and she comes to me daily and says "Mommy! KAKA!" and she means it, she has to go.I've always heard that girls are easier than boys to potty train, and that they usually do it sooner than boys, but this is crazy. She won't ask to go peepee, she still hasn't gotten that feeling down, but hey, poopie in the potty is a lot easier to clean than in a diaper. LOL!
I have to get her a potty chair or that toilet seat cover thing, because right now it's been me holding her on the seat so she won't fall in, it's a sight to see. My arms hurt.
But this is awesome. Soon, no more diapers???

Santa

Little Man was in line saying "I will not be afraid..." over and over under his breath. Last year we couldn't even go near Santa, this year he made himself very brave. Baby Girl cried after the flash went off, the photographer was going to try to get a picture with her smiling...I laughed. "Hey, we GOT a picture this year, that makes me happy enough." Santa was very nice, he patiently listened as Little Man stuttered his way through his list, his nerves were getting the best of him, but he told Santa about the bed he wanted. And he threw in a Minnie Mouse bed in his request for his little sister. It was a god time.
BUT! We made a pit stop in Wal Mart afterward to get some diapers for the baby, and who is sitting right in front of the store welcoming everyone? Another Santa. Little Man looked up at me and asked me how he got there so fast. "Well, Baby, remember I told you about Santa's sleigh...it flies? Well, he can fly over the traffic that we have to stop in, so he can get anywhere fast." The Wal Mart Santa laughed, and Little Man got to take another (FREE! DAMMIT! I should have gone there for the picture!) picture with Santa. Baby Girl was asleep in the stroller, so she missed the second dose of St. Nick. This Santa thing gets a little hard to explain, how do parents do it for so long?

Trying again this year...
I got my new best friend inserted Black Friday. Yeah, that was fun. It didn't hurt, some cramping but the fact that I was told to go home and lay down and suddenly Daddy (who hates shopping by the way) decided we should go to the mall...ON BLACK FRIDAY...to walk around. Oh Jesus, he almost died. We had to get Baby Girl her dressy winter coat to wear for Christmas...we could have waited. Not according to Daddy of course... But whatever. I'm good.
Did anyone do Black Friday shopping? How did it go? I love hearing war stories...
Pictures with Santa (if htey get taken!) will be posted.
TTFN!

Still going crazy here....
I had my annual gyno appointment 6 months too late, and after all the insurance bullshit I had to deal with just to get this appointment and shifting around my work schedule and trying to prepare myself mentally for another 2 years of cervical scraping because of 'possible cancerous cells' I got good news and some 'eh' news.
The good (GREAT!?!?) news is that there are no more 'suspiciously possible cancerous cells' (for now) and I don't have to endure that wonderful pain every six months with the scarping...
The 'eh' news is that my uterus has become flaccid. I now have a tilted uterus, and when I googled the images it made me laugh, because it looks funny. Doc told me that if we want to have more kids (HA! you think I'm trying THAT again? Yeah, guy, I'm all set with all the disappointments I've had AND my two are more than a handful!) we would probably have to have some corrective surgery because more than likely it will all end up in more disappointments anyway. Maybe my uterus was tilted before we tried having Little Man? Maybe after Little Man? Maybe my miscarraiges were DUE to the tilt and no one bothered to tell me? I will never know. NOW is when it is documented and they are chalking it up to my pregnancy with Baby Girl.
So that's that.
My semi-permanent five year plan is going under way as soon as Aunt Flo pays us a visit, Mirena will be my new bestie. Any thoughts/opinions/experiences?
I have a new(ish) camera that I got from my sister, but it has no usb and no charger (thanks sis?!) so I have to get a new one of each before I can go back to picture taking. It has a lithium ion battery so it has to be charged, instead of just being able to pop new batteries in like my old camera. But it takes pretty decent pictures... so I'm not going to complain. I have to get the kid's Christmas Card pictures taken...and I have to remember to print more out this year, last year I printed only 15 and I thought that would be enough (HA!).

ummm. why didn't I think of that?
Little Man : What happened Mommy?
Me: My belly hurts, baby.
Little Man: well, put a band-aid on it.

single...
I've been exhausted and aggravated and having a whirlwind of emotions flying through me at the speed of light. I give so much credit to the women that do this on their own, and with multiple kids, because it has been hard as hell for me, and that's only with Daddy working long hours, it isn't like he's gone.
Little Man turned four on Friday, we waited until Daddy got out of work to cut his cake. So we were eating cake at 10 p.m. Yep - horrible mother I am, giving my kids cake at that time. I am playing hookey on Thursday so we can go to Chuck-E-Rat's and give him a proper little birthday party.
I am annoyed all the time between the hours of 8 and 5, take a guess why because I can't talk about it. Hmmmmm.....
I have to go now, because Little Man is coughing too much and I think it's the asthma bothering him, so I'm going to have to plug the machine in and hope the baby doesn't wake up.
