CRICKETS!
So, no one liked my M&M's, huh?
I haven't had this much silence since I started the blog...
it's okay.
I understand.
If it matters, I wasn't paid to post that. I just listened to what the commercial said! They said "Become an M&M" and I said "okay!"
I wanted to share that I also liked the idea of personalizing M&M's(also seen on a commercial) and putting my own message on some as a gift to Daddy and Little Man for V Day, but when I went to order some, you have to buy 4 packages.
4.
FOUR.
CUATRO.
very small, teeny tiny packages.
I don't need four packages (which comes to about $50) I just need one. My son can't even read, he is only planning on swallowing the entire package.
So I felt that $50 was too much to spend on M&M's and I didn't order my own personal message. So back to a blank slate on what to give my men this year...

if it makes you feel better, I clicked on the link but never followed through with finishing the mm. Also, at our wedding I gave out little satchels full of those personalized mms (they were wrapped and inside a glass champagne flute. They send the stuff inside a styrofoam cooler with the cooling element things. They're not as good as they seem. they have too much of the color coating and taste funky (kind of like those weird jordan almonds handed at weddings) but by that time it was too late to change things around...
Some friend of ours had those made for mother's day and the package was STOLEN on their doorstep by some kids.
The box was crazy with M&M's stamped all over it saying things like "Your candy is HERE! Yum! Yum! Eat this CANDY NOW!!"
So consider yourself lucky, you may have been out $50.
spb- jordan almonds are way better when you buy them at the store, they always taste stale at weddings and stuff. (I guess the same applies for M&M's...
tony-true. now I'll look at it from that perspective...
I did like them...a LOT. I love M&M stuff. And the candy...haha. I haven't had time to make an M&M person of myself just yet. But I will. And this is the first that I have heard about the personalized ones. $50 for M&Ms that I can get for under a buck at the local convenience store...hmmm...I don't know about that one.
I have to agree...$50 for M&Ms is way too much money if they say what I want them to. Cause really aren't they meant for eating and not reading anyway?
I am reading so much about special gifts for the valentine in your life.
We exchange cards.
I have a friend who actually makes special cards for her husband for every occasion. I just stare at her when she shows me her latest love offering. My seven year old can do better cards than me.
I just let Hallmark do the talking. And I don't even give lovey dovey cards....I tend to go for the funny ones.
I seem to be missing the romance gene......
And I love M&M's far too much to let myself buy them. I love to pop a fistful into my mouth and just chomp. They don't even have time to melt....
ummm, valentines day...riiiight.
can I get by with giving wife.imp a smack on the ass and saying something like, 'luv ya' babe!'???
(or should i venture into m&m hell?)
rebecca-pretty easy decision, huh? that's what I said...
mamaof2-totally!
maria- 'they don't even have time to melt'- does anyone let them melt??? I don't. As for hallmark- i go for funny too.
melissa- nice! you didn't have to spend the $50 for the decorations!
dennis-I say why not???LOL! dont go to m&m hell, unless you buy them at the gas station!
