This is an Urban Legend and NOT true.

It becomes obvious when you read the "article" and realize that no names or places are cited. A Newspaper is not going to write an article using phrases such as "a guy on the 103rd Floor", it would have been reported, "Jim Smith of Anywhere, NY who works at the law firm of Dewey Cheattam and Howe on the 103rd floor of WTC 1" (or something similar).
Sorry to be the stick in the mud.
