Dear Mr. President

Mom 101 had this posted on her site, but I wanted to put it here so anyone who doesn't read her (stupid me, who doesn't read her, huh?) can see/hear it. This is my new favorite song.
And here is a news article that might start a riot...

That songs makes me want to cry (Lexapro makes it nearly impossible). I voted Bush into office, but I've been questioning my decision since then.

I didn't read Mom 101, until today.

I listen to Pink, but had not heard this song. 'how do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye' really hit me.

Thank you!!

The issue of songs and censorship is not new, and (to play devil's advocate here) if this song had been anything other than a "Bush Protest" song, it wouldn't be news.

My own personal example, in H.S. our prom theme song was nixed by the administration. The Song? Open Arms by Journey. The Reason? "Lying beside you here in the dark" according to the school administration "promoted sex"

The song does it you when you have to think about a mother losing their child in a war. But honestly..that little girl shouldn't have been allowed to sing it. IMHO.
