Holidays are coming people!

I wanted to take a moment and tell you guys how grateful I am that Supermom in NY put me on to PayPerPost.com. They are an internet site that pays bloggers to advertise on their sites. While many advertisers are picky about who advertises for them, the folks at PayPerPost give everyone an opportunity, even no-name people like me! I'm not trying to be a sell-out, I'm just trying to get a little extra to be able to put away "just in case", because I have learned (the hard way most of the time) that things happen when you have nothing to fall back on. Like my transmission? I was lucky enough to have that happen while we still had some money in the bank, but after I paid the almost $500 it came out to, I had almost nothing. Daddy and I are not rich, we work very hard for our money. But we also have rent. And bills. And a car (which I'm happy to even have.) And a CHILD! WHO EATS! And guess what? That time of year is coming again, when everyone goes crazy looking for gifts, and I don't want what happened last year to happen again. (Where we got to buy basically nothing for our son and/or each other.) So far Ive been paid about $35, waiting for about $80 more (The posts have to be approved first!). Not much, but it helps with gas, and a few groceries here and there.Anyway, if you feel like checking them out, go ahead. What they do is present you with a list of open opportunities, you can incorporate it however you like in your blog. I usually pick things that have something to do with anything that might be going on in real life, so it doesn't sound too much like an advertisment. (Even though I'm sure it still does.) They provide you with the link, optional photos, review the post, and pay you through Paypal. So far I've been able to put some money away, and I'm glad. You just never know...
