Words he can say clearly and in context:
- Apple
- bye-bye
- hi
- car
- bike
- parque (Spanish for park)
- oh, shit (yes, you read that right. We're horrible parents, but guess what? He learned it at the parque.)
- pane (plane)
- Mommy (I'm no longer just Ma, that's saved for my mother.)
- carne (Spanish for meat)
- papa (potatoes in any form, french fries, mashed, baked...also in Spanish)
- juice
- cheche (supposed to be Leche, Spanish for milk.)
- ice (ice pops. He's addicted)
- No
- Daddy
- Titi (auntie)
- shoes
- feet
- eyes
- ears
- nose
- cat
- wow-wow (doggie)
- move
- Choo (a nickname one of Daddy's friends has. He loves Choo.)
- Mine
There are others (many others), but I can't think of them now. He tries to dress himself. He feeds himself. He makes car noises. He grabs your hand and leads you to where he wants you to go. He pats the couch/bed when he wants you to sit/lay next to him. He brings books when he wants you to read.
Nothing big, just normal growing up. Which I still wish I could slow down....
*Now just for me writing this he's going to end up with a lump on his head for trying to do back flips and cartwheels at my sister's house...
Here he is feeding himself at Grandma's house. Notice her nice cream-colored carpets. Spill-proof, but guess what? Grape juice defeats anything! And what the hell is she doing letting him eat on the floor? She yells at me for feeding him on my own couch at home, and yet she does THIS. Unbelievable....
Here he is on the Bob The Builder ride at Wal-Mart. He's loving Bob now, along with "Melmo" and Bear...

girl! just thinking the thoughts you posted means the little man is going to either ruin his clothes or he's going to pull all the pots and pans out of the cupboards and start testing them to see in which one he slides furthest!
oh dennis! Those are also normal everyday things in my house! While I'm cooking he is pulling every pot, pan, bowl, spoon, EVERYTHNG out and playing with it. As for his clothes...oy. I think I have like three shirts that aren't permanently stained with pen marks or juice...
caramba!
I keep trying to convince myself my kids learned how to say, "shit" on the playground too.
Wow! That's some word list.
How funny "vampire teeth", my daughter has shark teeth. She wants to rip and tear things with them - like my arm and walls.
Little Man likes to bite. Usually only me, but he likes to bite.
So cute!!
Wow. He officially has a bigger vocabulary than the salesgirl I encountered today at Bloomingdales.
You and I are on the same page. I haven't posted anything on my blog the last few days b/c my little man has also been "normal" - cute and perfect, but normal!
Awww, he's so cute! Man, I wish there was an anti-growth pill we could give them to keep them shweet and cute...
Karma is always taunting us.
I mean come on the minute to commit something to paper or speech the exact thing happens.
At least it does to me.
I hope Karma likes you better than me.
